Who We Are
Kathlyn Bangao – Founder
Kathlyn is a dedicated math educator with more than ten years of teaching experience. She has guided students through the challenges of mathematics at the tertiary level and knows firsthand what strategies help learners succeed. Outside the classroom, Kathlyn’s curiosity leads her to explore new adventures—whether that’s traveling, learning website development and welding, or taking on fresh challenges. She brings this same spirit of discovery into BrainMatters Learning, helping students face academic challenges with courage and clarity.
Ruby Anamong – Co-Founder
Ruby is an associate professor with expertise in both professional education and mathematics. Known for turning complex topics into those satisfying “aha!” moments, Ruby has supported students in mastering concepts that once felt out of reach. With a background in postgraduate studies and years of teaching, she combines deep knowledge with a heart for making learning approachable. When she isn’t teaching or writing, you’ll find her on a hiking trail or exploring new ideas to inspire students.
